Ahok Akan Dorong Pelayanan KJS Jadi Lebih Baik

City will Improve KJS Service Quality

Jakarta Health Card (KJS) dissemination in the capital was run well. The health insurance card program is now only constrained by service quality issues in health centers that have not been fully accredited.

We have to support to be the best. Second place is not our expectation

"The KJS distributions have no problem. We are just constrained at service quality. Our Puskesmas are not yet fully accredited," said Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), Jakarta Governor at City Hall, Tuesday (30/12).

According to Ahok, medical equipment and hospital in Jakarta are far better compared with other regions. However, from the evaluation of Health Ministry (Dinkes), KJS in the capital just got second place after Bali.

City Has Fulfilled Residents’ Basic Needs

"We have to support to be the best. Second place is not our expectation," Ahok added.

He added further, to become the number one in KJS service terms, Jakarta Provincial Government will conduct improvement in Jakarta Health Department.

The former Regent of East Belitong was also mentioned, the non-infectious disease which is covered by KJS is also the problem. It shows the Jakartans life method is not good enough.

"We spent more BPJS fund for diabetes, heart attack, and others," he disclosed.
